Christiansen Dental started as a dream many years ago as I, Dr. Bart, grew up in northern Wyoming.
‍
I had two Uncles in the dental field; one was an orthodontist in Ogden, UT, and the other a general dentist in Fort Collins, CO. They were lots of fun, and I enjoyed their profession. After I had a front tooth knocked out in 5th grade, I was so impressed and grateful that my uncle could fix my tooth and return my smile; it occurred to me that being a dentist might be something I wanted to be myself.

My uncles gave me lots of encouragement, and I pursued my goal. After much work, I graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1988. That fall, my wife and I and our oldest son moved to Highlands Ranch, and in the spring of 1990, we opened our office in Centennial Colorado.

My brother James grew up (he is my brother, 21 years and one week younger) watching his really cool big brother and decided he would be a dentist also. James graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in the spring of 2009. He joined us here in Colorado after four years of practicing in Wyoming.

Meet The Team

We work with very nice people who do their jobs extremely well. We think you will like them too! Together, we strive to make your dental experiences as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Bart Christiansen

Dr. Bart Christiansen grew up in Wyoming and later graduated from BYU with a BS in microbiology before attending Creighton University for Dental School. He graduated in 1988 from Creighton, and worked as an associate dentist for one year, then began his private practice in 1990. He and his wife, Leslie, have been married for over 40 years and have six children and more than a few grandchildren. His patients affectionately call him “Dr. Bart”. He loves the outdoors and enjoys camping, fishing, and lawn mowing for mental therapy.

Dr. James Christiansen

Dr. James graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in May 2009. He was in a dental practice for 7 years in Northern Wyoming and joined Christiansen Dental in 2012. He and his wife, Kristin, have a daughter, Eve, a son, Owen, and two doodle dogs, Molly and Stella. He enjoys hiking outdoors in Colorado and is an avid fisherman and golfer.

Front Office Team

Our front office team is happy to help you when you enter our office. Our friendly Office Manager, Kathy, has been with Dr. Bart for over 6 years. She is knowledgeable regarding all aspects of your dental visit. Cathrine is our Business Assistant and was a dental assistant before moving to the front. She is enthusiastic and helpful. We are glad to work with your insurance companies, time schedules and concerns you may have. We think you will find our office warm and inviting as we consider our patients are dear friends as well.

Dental Assistants

Our dental assistants are Georgette, Josie, and Brooke. They are experienced in their field and are wonderful at putting our patients at ease. They are all expanded-duty dental assistants and are great at their craft.

Dental Hygienists

We have five of the best hygienists in the field. Karen, Kim, Kari, Stacy, and Andrea are exceptional people. They take wonderful care of our patients and stay current with the latest material and techniques in dental care.
